Angus Donald, President

Angus has over 20 years of hands-on experience in the rigging industry, providing an extensive knowledge base in project management and leadership in heavy lift and the Jack and Roll processes.

Angus started in the rigging industry performing Jack and Roll, bed truck swamping and picker duties. As a self-driven, results-orientated individual, Angus soon excelled in his career managing his own Jack and Roll crew for Premay Equipment LP.

In 1997, Angus decided to embrace his vision to own and operate his own rigging company. Donald Rigging & Consulting Corp. was born out of this vision as Angus became a self-employed contractor providing the rigging industry with his outstanding knowledgeable of Jack & Roll along with innovative equipment, high safety standards and outstanding customer service.

In 2005, Angus expanded Donald Rigging by bringing in Jeff Ikert and Bonnie Donald as minority owners which gave him the capability of offering a wider range of services to his clientele. Today, Donald Rigging continues to grow and offer its clients the best in services, equipment, consultation and satisfaction in the rigging industry.

Jeff Ikert, Superintendent

Jeff has over 9 years of hands-on experience in the rigging and heavy lifting industry. Jeff started in the industry at Premay Equipment LP as a rigger on a Jack and Roll crew where he gained a wide-range of knowledge and expertise. His abilities and proficiency as a team leader helped advance his career as he became a journey-man boom truck operator and then a successful crew supervisor on various projects.

In 2005, Jeff leveraged the skills and abilities that he had obtained at Premay Equipment and became a minority owner of Donald Rigging when the company expanded. Together with Angus & Bonnie, Jeff continues to work hard promoting Donald Rigging as it aims to become the premier rigging company in Western Canada.

T.C. Wells, Superintendent

Trevor (T.C.) has a combined 17 years of experience in the oil and gas industry including operations, transportation and rigging.

T.C. began his career as rigger. He soon obtained his class 1 drivers license and picker ticket and began working with Jack and Roll crews and winch tractors, loading and hauling commodities to various sites in Western Canada.

With an outstanding skill set and comprehension for rigging and transportation, T.C. took on a supervisory role running his own Jack and Roll crew with various companies such as Premay Equipment LP and Singer Specialized.

In 2005, T.C. joined Donald Rigging as a superintendent responsible for organizing jobs and supervising a Jack and Roll crew. And to this day, he continues to love every thing about his job.

James Hunt, Superintendent

James (Hunter) has been involved in the rigging and transportation industry for over 8 years.

Hunter started out rigging at CP Rail and was soon promoted to running a Top Lift and other heavy machinery.

In 2003, Hunter began rigging for Premay Equipment LP where he was able to obtain his outstanding skills and techniques in Jack and Roll.

When Angus decided to expand Donald Rigging in 2005 Hunter was honored to be asked to be part of this venture. With Donald Rigging, Hunter's knowledge base has increased through such courses as Leadership for Safety Excellence, Principles of Health & Safety Management and the Auditor Training Program.

Hard work has given Hunter the chance to become a supervisor with Donald Rigging. With his increased role, Hunter continues to provide top-notch customer service and is dedicated to high safety standards and excellence every time he steps on and off the worksite.

Bonnie Donald, Accountant

Bonnie has been involved in the trucking industry for 10 years. In 2000, she started at Premay Equipment LP as an Accounts Payable clerk while working towards her Certified Management Accounting certificate. She obtained her CMA designation in 2004 and one year later moved on to become the Controller at Cascade Carriers LP (a position that she still holds today).

In 2005, Bonnie assisted Angus Donald and Jeff Ikert with the overall expansion of Donald Rigging. This expansion entailed hiring new employees and setting up a full scale accounting system to handle all aspects of the business. Bonnie has been able to utilize the management skills that she obtained in her CMA program to assist with the continued growth of Donald Rigging.

Koreen Szczerba, Safety Consultant and Co-ordinator

Koreen has a combined 21 years of extensive experience and formal education in business management, educational training, coordination, facilitation, management and workplace occupational health and safety.

Koreen's experiences began as an administrative clerk for a non-profit organization that led her to a career in coordination, facilitation and management of several educational training programs. Her knowledge rapidly developed in many other areas including personnel staffing, human resources and project management in the construction, asbestos, mould, biohazards and disaster clean up industries.

In 1996, Koreen transferred her developed training and management skills into a new career in workplace occupational health and safety. She is now dedicating her efforts in the area of training and consulting employers and workers so that they can achieve outstanding health and safety in the workplace.
